Philip Island Penguins Tour

Waddling up the beach at sunset, these rare little birds are just one of the friendly locals you'll find at Philip Island.
Every evening, 'rafts' of little fairy penguins (only 20cms high) arrive from the ocean to the shore. It is here on Philip Island that they breed and it is the only breeding colony in the Southern Hemisphere.
As they waddle across up the beach they are counted by the research team to keep an accurate record of their numbers. Up to 3000 Penguins live here.
Visitors get close-up views when the penguins have left the beach and walk to their burrows in the sand hills to feed their chicks, preen themselves and rest.

Warrook Farm
Only 50 minutes from Melbourne and close to Phillip Island Penguins, this is an opportunity to experience a genuine Australian sheep and cattle farm.
Watch sheep dogs muster sheep and see sheep shearing, feed the baby farm animals, see kangaroos and wombats up close.
