“ Many years ago I created the Melbourne Style Tour, which is still the only tour of its kind in Melbourne. We are constantly researching and up-dating interesting places to include in the itinerary and due to high interest we are including homewares and cuisine experiences.
After twenty years in the tourism industry and having widely travelled, I realised Melbourne boutiques, shops and galleries showcase beautiful objects designed and handcrafted by one of the many skilled and talented local artisans. How to find these places? How to get there? Visitors to Melbourne needed a personalised ‘time-saver’ service and the idea to create a Melbourne Style Tour was immediate!
The Melbourne Style Tour visits a variety of places and many places are by appointment where designers are pleased to meet visitors and learn the stories behind their creations. It puts back the fun and interest in shopping for our visitors because we do the leg work!’
