Healesville Sanctuary:

Home to over 200 Australian mammals and birds. A great opportunity to see kangaroos and koalas up close.

Small and large vineyards specialising in high quality Yarra Valley red wines. For wine lovers, Pinots reds here are a specialty.

Early Settler's Houses:

An historic farm of 1840's first settlement. Perfectly intact. Original house and out-buildings, constructed of split timber slabs. Interior is furnished and original.

Mt de LanceyMount de Lancey (1880s)

Early settlement buildings include family homestead a school, machinery sheds and the blacksmiths shop - depicting rural life in the local community and the family. A must see is the 100 year old timber slab kitchen and timber Chapel. Both are fine examples of original designs that are simple and functional.

Healesville Township:

Take a street walk though the shops of this charming rural town. See the locals shopping and socialising and experience the Australian way of life.
